Only at ATypI…

From the site: “The award presentation at the ATypI Gala Dinner on Saturday night was a touching event. Although it went smoothly, it was blemished by an unfortunate typo on the banner that was set up next to the ATypI registration desk on Thursday. When the mistake was eventually discovered on Friday morning there was of course no time to order a new one. And this is where the wonderful ATypI spirit of camaraderie kicked in.”

Typecon 2013: Portland Highlights | Michelle Furedy

From the site: “TypeCon 2013 was held in Portland this year so I thought I’d head down to see what my designer friends were talking about. TypeTalks 3 — Brno, 6–7 September 2013

From the site: “In its third edition, the TypeTalks symposium is coming back to its hometown, Brno. Expect great atmosphere, a small event with friendly colleagues, and great speakers who have something to say. A day full of proper lectures will be preceded by an ultrademocratic evening of extrashort presentations (aka TypeShorts™) and an infodesign workshop. The conference is international in its scope and a great majority of the speakers will present in English.”
